Our Holiday Hamper Drive is a time to remember the ones often forgot over the holidays. Our residents rarely have any funds left over after paying rent, and especially during these months, it makes the world of a difference to be able to celebrate in small ways. Ensuring people living on tight budgets have the basic hygiene necessities – possibly even their children to receive small gifts – is a small gesture yet hugely appreciated to those in need.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Monetary support i.e. cheque donations or gift cards to purchase the following items below…. Let’s ensure all residents can celebrate Christmas and start a new home!
This year we need to assemble 300 hampers containing the following items:
Food – 1 box clementines, 4 cans of vegetables, Butter, 1lb bag of Sugar, 5lb bag of Rice, Cookies, Chocolate, 4 cans of evaporated milk, Tea, Coffee, and Juice
Items – Bath soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothpaste, Scarf, Hat & Gloves, Sweaters, Thermos, Travel Mugs, Vouchers, Gift Cards, and Tupperware
Each hamper costs approximately $110; our goal is to raise $10,000.
