With a home you can celebrate Christmas


Christmas can be a special time but for the homeless it is a day like any other - a day without family, shelter, friends, hope or security.
Homes First houses 550 adults, seniors, youth and children every night. Here is a list of some of the items that would help make Christmas special for our residents. 

Christmas Items

Vegetables (fresh & canned)
Fruit (fresh and canned)
Soup for 30-40 people (home made)
Christmas Trees
Boxed chocolates
New Mittens, scarves & hats
100 food hampers each containing: 1 bag of rice, 1 package of pasta, 2 cans of beans, 4 cans of fruit, hot chocolate, 2 boxes of juice, 2 boxes granola bars, 1 jar of instant coffee, 1 box of tea, 1 bag of sugar, 4 cans of milk, 1 package of cookies, 1 bag of oranges, 1 box of cereal. 

Items We Always Need

Sheets & Blankets
Socks a need
Winter boots
Tooth paste & tooth brushes
Toiletries – soap, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, deodorant
