Summer Community cleanups have begun across Homes First sites, with residents and volunteers coming together to help keep neighbourhoods clean and welcoming.
This year, residents from our 4117 Lawrence site joined the annual community cleanup organized by Storefront. Despite the rainy weather, four residents participated in cleaning the Kingston Road and Lawrence Avenue East and Kingston Road and Galloway Road areas, collecting a significant amount of litter throughout the day.
The event concluded with participants enjoying samosas, pizza, and pastries together, creating an opportunity to connect with fellow community members while making a positive impact.
