Homes First has many partnerships with outstanding organizations within Toronto. Some to highlight are the partnerships that help us operationalize the stabilizing activities which guides our operations at our Hotel Shelters. These partnerships include:

ICHA (Inner City Health Associates), who provide on-site primary care and access to pharmaceuticals (run on-site pharmacy);

SHOPP (overseen by The Neighbourhood Group), which are enhanced peers that stay in our program to assist residents with harm reduction (equipped with oxygen);

iPHARE (overseen by our embedded Community Health Centre’s Outreach Team), which operate at our hotels daily during regular business hours offering additional harm reduction supports;

MOVID (Overseen by Parkdale Queen West), originally launched for COVID related isolations, they are now providing harm reduction and safe supply supports, overdose response/prevention and staff education;

Vaccine Ambassadors (Overseen by Inner City Health Associates and Homes First) are mobile ambassadors attending on-site vaccine clinics to support/engage clients in the vaccination process.
