Ways You Can Partner

Impact Giving 

A direct financial contribution is one of the most powerful ways to support Homes First. Your gift helps keep our programs running and shelters open. Charitable tax receipts are available, and donations of $5,000 or more are publicly recognized in our Annual Report and featured as a partner on our website

Volunteer and Fundraise for Homes First 

Hands-on involvement brings your values to life—building community while supporting tangible change. Here are meaningful ways your group can contribute: 

  • Non-Perishable Food Hampers 
    Prepare essential food hampers for distribution among residents and families facing food insecurity. 
  • Kits for a Cause 
    Pick from a variety of carefully curated packs—Hygiene Kits, Period Kits, Senior Kits, Summer Kits, Transitional Housing Kits, or Winter Warmth Kits—to assemble and distribute to residents in need. 
  • Home Starter Kit Drive 
    Gather household essentials (like cookware, bedding, toiletries) to ensure residents moving into housing feel welcomed and supported. 
  • Gift Card Drive 
    Collect grocery, café, or pharmacy gift cards ($5–$25) to give residents flexibility and dignity in meeting personal needs. 

Whether through internal competitions, sponsored events, or creative fundraising campaigns, your team can create fundraising initiatives that directly support Homes First programming. We’ll provide the tools, support, and branding assets you need to run successful, impact-driven campaigns. 

All events can be hosted at your location or virtually—with Homes First providing a kickoff presentation to share impact and purpose.
