The Bathurst Lakeshore shelter has a 250-co-ed singles and coupled client capacity and is pet friendly; individuals must be 18+ years old to become a Homes First client at this site. All Homes First emergency shelters are equipped with our foundational, 1 on 1 Intensive Case Management (ICM) support services to assist clients in their stabilization. The Bathurst Lakeshore shelter has several programs available to residents, including an integrated meal program (including 3 dining halls), agency-led harm reduction services, community engagement opportunities, an outdoor area equipped with a barbeque, as well as peer-support programs.
