Metro-Refugee shelter program can serve up to 337 residents, specifically refugee claimants experiencing homelessness in Toronto . The program is an emergency shelter program that provides temporary accommodation and related support services that assist residents to move into housing. The provided wrap-around services include: daily meals, laundry, recreational programming and case management supports.
In November 2023, the program expanded to include a respite program on site, to help meet shelter capacity needs. The respite program serves 38 residents, serving all genders. The shelter and respite program are closed referral programs, all referrals are coordinated through the City of Toronto.
