The Kennedy Road shelter is an all-single-(self-identifying) women’s shelter with 47 beds and is also pet friendly; individuals must be 18+ years old to become a Homes First client at this site. All Homes First emergency shelters are equipped with our foundational, 1 on 1 Intensive Case Management (ICM) support services to assist clients in their stabilization. The Kennedy Road shelter has several programs available to residents, including an integrated meal program, agency-led harm reduction services, community engagement opportunities, as well as peer-support programs. This shelter is situated near local greenery and has a private, secure, greenspace available to clients.
