St. Clair

St. Clair Shelter is an emergency 90-bed shelter for men and women. Many residents are employed or actively seeking employment. The shelter serves people who have recently become homeless. People stay until stabilized and are often rehoused.

The St. Clair Shelter has a 31-co-ed singles client capacity; individuals must be 18+ years old to become a Homes First client at this site. All Homes First emergency shelters are equipped with our foundational, 1 on 1 Intensive Case Management (ICM) support services to assist interested clients in their stabilization. The St. Clair Shelter has several programs available to residents, including an integrated meal program, agency-led harm reduction services, community engagement opportunities, and peer-support programs. This shelter also has a side patio available to clients.
